Powered by three AAA batteries and featuring a 1-watt Luxeon LED (Light Emitting Diode), the Starbright headlight delivers 500 foot-candles of light. Suitable for dental exams as well as for field work such as services to nursing homes, with fresh batteries the headlight will deliver 1 - 20 hours of brilliant line-of-sight intensity. Because LED technology is used, it is never necessary to change the bulb. The headlight is ideal for the dental practitioner. The headband model integrates the small battery pack onto the headband making the headlight completely self-contained. The clip-on version provides ample wire to the battery, allowing the headlight to be easily placed in a pocket, or clipped to a belt or shirt.
